In Pac-12 football news ... UCLA didn't represent the Pac-12 very well yesterday in the Holiday Bowl. Baylor routed the Bruins, 49-26, in San Diego, taking the fizz out of Jim Mora's first season as coach. ... Oregon wants to treat its next game like the Super Bowl. ... No trash talk when it comes to Oregon State's Alamo Bowl game against Texas. The Beavers will be playing close to Mike Riley's home.... Arizona State needs to stay disciplined in its bowl game against Navy. ... Colorado won't be upgrading its facilities with Pac-12 TV money. ... USC's quarterback is at peace with the way his career ended, though not all Trojans are at peace with the location of their bowl game. ... Inside the numbers with Stanford. The Cardinal's star linebacker is glad he stayed in school.

In Pac-12 basketball news ... Arizona's point guard wants the ball with the game on the line. ... A real tough one today for Utah against College of Idaho, an NAIA team. ... UCLA hosts Missouri tonight at 7 on ESPN2. ... Washington's opponent this weekend has caused the Huskies some heartache over the years.
