Lakes ATH Cedric Dozier just told @scoutrecruiting he will choose between Cal and WSU @ Lakes at 2:30 Tuesday. #roundtwo — Chris Fetters (@Chris_Fetters) <a data-datetime="" 2011-12-13t15:02:00+00:00""="" href="" _cke_saved_href="" https:="" twitter.com="" #!="" chris_fetters="" status="" 164121396874711040"="">January 30, 2012

Shortly after his teammate, Zach Banner, announced his decision to attend USC, news came trickling through the Twittersphere from Scout.com's Chris Fetters that Lakes High School receiver Cedric Dozier will make his college decision tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. Dozier is said to be deciding between Washington State and California. The Cougars already expect to sign a pretty solid group of receivers, but the addition of Dozier, a four-star rated prospect by Scout.com, would bolster the class even further. It would also be another statement for coach Mike Leach and his staff that the Cougars are capable of winning battles with other Pac-12 schools fot high-profile recruits. Scout.com's Brandon Huffman told us last week that he thought the Cougars had "a very good chance" at landing Dozier, and at least one other analyst seems to agree.

Christian Caple can be reached at christianc@spokesman.com.
