Another rough morning after

COUGARS

FROM PULLMAN -- And another late night in the Bohler athletic complex, as this 7:30 p.m. start meant some hectic times afterward. But we've got plenty of time now to sit down and sort through the links for you. Read on.

...

We'll start you off with our newspaper coverage, which included a game story, a notebook with a topper from Jim Meehan, our scoring summary and our keys to the game. John Blanchette also wrote this column. Tyler Tjomsland shot this photo gallery. On the blog, we had our usual tale of the tape, plus a transcript of Mike Leach's postgame comments and video of Leach, Jeff Tuel and Brett Bartolone. ... Bud Withers has this column in The Seattle Times, as well as some notes. ... Here's the AP story. ... Howie Stalwick also has a story in the Kitsap Sun. ... From California --  here are a couple of stories from the Bears' perspective.

In other Pac-12 action ...

UCLA 21, Utah 14 -- The Utes went with their freshman at quarterback. T.J. Simers called this one "boring."

Notre Dame 20, Stanford 13 -- It was a controversial ending in South Bend, as Stanford supporters swear there should have been a second overtime.

Oregon State 42, BYU 24 -- OSU's backup quarterback played just fine in Provo, so maybe it's time to take the Beavers seriously.

Southern California 24, Washington 14 -- Keith Price's turnovers cost the Huskies. The Trojans aren't particularly pleased with how they played offensively.
