EWU and Big Sky links

In the meantime, here's a link to my Big Sky notebook. Speaking of the Big Sky, here's a story by our own Josh Wright on Idaho's struggle to fill a schedule next year while playing as an independent. Word is, half the Vandals are fine with going FCS, and the others need some more convincing.
From the Missoulian, here's a look at the upwardly mobile Liberty Flames, who play the Griz this week but have their sites on bigger things, like FBS (Maybe they schedule Idaho for a home-amd-home next year.). ... Apparently, Weber State isn't a big draw, even at BYU, according to this column in the Ogden Standard-Examiner. Speaking of columns, this one by Greg Rachac of the Billings Gazette gives a thumbs-up to UM for its choice of Kent Haslam as athletic director.
