Getting going on a Tuesday with WSU

FROM PULLMAN -- The Washington State football team will knock out practices No. 9, 10 and 11 over the next six days, beginning this afternoon at 3 p.m. There are links to read in the meantime.

Are you excited for WSU's spring game? Howie Stalwick must be, because he has this story today previewing the Spokane Week events, which begin April 15. ... The WSU baseball team's scheduled game against BYU yesterday was rained out and will not be made up. Scott Simon, who pitched the Cougars to a 5-0 win over Utah on Sunday, was named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week.

Around the Pac-12 ... Oregon State's new defensive tackles are working to get up to speed. ... An Oregon linebacker's versatility is being tested this spring. ... Former California receiver Keenan Allen is ready to run for NFL scouts. ... A USC safety might need hip surgery. ... The Pac-12 Blog discusses whether UCLA can win the Pac-12 South. ... Rich Rodriguez was complimentary of an Arizona safety.
