Chiefs vault Americans in standings
Riley Whittingham had his first two-goal night as a Chief as Spokane defeated Tri-City 5-2 at the Arena on Saturday night to pass the Americans in Western Hockey League Western Conference standings. Connor Chartier, Adam Helewka and Mike Aviani also scored for Spokane, which moved from sixth place to a tie for fourth with Victoria, which plays at the Arena on Sunday. Story to come.
