Whittingham’s goal gives Chiefs lead

Riley Whittingham's goal on a 5-on-3 power play at 17 minutes, 56 seconds gave the Spokane Chiefs a 1-0 lead over the Tri-City Americans after one period in Western Hockey League play at the Arena. Whittingham's goal was his fourth of the season and second in three games. Shots favor Spokane 12-9.
