Mountain returns to Gonzaga
Former Gonzaga player and assistant coach Jennifer Mountain is back in Spokane today to coach Santa Clara (9-5-1-0) in a West Coast Conference women's basketball game against GU (11-4, 1-0) at McCarthey Athletic Center. Mountain, in her fifth season with the Broncos, also coached the St. George's boys to two State B title games. Mountain's first-year assistant is former Mead High standout Stacy Clinesmith, who played in the WNBA. Game time is 20 minutes away.
