The Gonzaga women have won the last eight West Coast Conference titles, compiling a 105-9 conference record along the way, but the Bulldogs find themselves in an unaccustomed spot - third place - after Thursday night's play. Gonzaga lost at Saint Mary's 54-51 in a game matching teams that had been 2-0 in the WCC. BYU, meanwhile, held off San Diego in overtime to improve to 2-0 in conference.
