Garia does it again for streaking Indians

Make it four wins in a row for the Spokane Indians, who are moving their way up the Northwest League's North Division standings. Monday's 5-3 victory over Boise in 11 innings improved the Indians' record to 5-6 and put them just one game behind second-place Vancouver, which begins a three-game series at Avista Stadium on Tuesday night. Monday's storyline sort of repeated Sunday's as leadoff hitter Chris Garia hit a two-out, two-run homer to left field in the 11th for the win. Garia hit two homers to right during Sunday's win. He has hit more homers in the last two days than he had hit in his professional career, which began in 2010 in the Dominican Summer League. Read story
