Chiefs take over fourth place alone
The Spokane Chiefs built a 5-0 lead and defeated the Prince George Cougars 6-4 in Western Hockey League play at the Arena on Tuesday night. Spokane improved to 86 points and took over fourth place alone in the Western Conference with Tri-City's loss to Seattle. There are three games left in the regular season, including Tri-City at Spokane on Friday and Spokane at Tri-City on Saturday. Fourth place brings home-ice advantage when the Chiefs and Tri-City open their first-round playoff next week. Story to come.
