Welcome to Game 2 of March Iceness

We interrupt your Gonzaga basketball watching to announce Game 2 of the Western Hockey League playoff series between the Spokane Chiefs and Tri-City Americans at the Arena. Spokane won the opener 4-1 on Friday night, thanks to two goals by Mitch Holmberg. The best-of-seven series won't return to Spokane until April 2, and then only if a Game 6 is necessary. Game 3 is Tuesday night in Kennewick. Friday's game officially drew 5,000 fans and tonight's crowd seems affected by Gonzaga's NCAA men's basketball tournament game against Wichita State, which is at halftime. Game time is 20 minutes away.
