Spokane has acquired wide receiver Brandon Thompkins from Utah in exchange for defensive back Josh Ferguson and defensive lineman Julian Miller.

Thompkins had 76 receptions, 26 for touchdowns, last season with Spokane. In four games this season with Utah, he had 27 csatches for 345 yards. He didn’t play in the Blaze’s win over Spokane last Saturday.

The addition of Thompkins (pictured above in a 2011 Spokane game) gives the Shock options for Saturday’s home game against Orlando. Shock receiver Kamar Jorden has a tryout at the Indianapolis Colts rookie minicamp this weekend.

Ferguson, a former Spokane player, was released by Utah last week and claimed by the Shock. He’s been on the refused to report list. Miller, an AFL rookie, hasn’t played in a game.

Spokane also signed former Shock defensive lineman Jon Williams and defensive back Antareis Bryan.
