Zags release basketball schedule

Gonzaga will play 15 home games this season (not counting the Battle in Seattle vs. South Alabama), including six non-conference games at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

There were no surprises on the official schedule released Monday by Gonzaga. Most of the opponents have been known for a while.

The top non-conference home games are against Colorado State and New Mexico State, both NCAA Tournament qualifiers last year, and rival Washington State. Colorado State knocked off Missouri before falling to eventual national champion Louisville. NMSU lost to Saint Louis in the opening round.

The road schedule is highlighted by the Maui Invitational, dates with Memphis and West Virginia, and a contest with Kansas State in Wichita.
