One more day to Cougar football

Today is the last day of Washington State's offseason. We'll wrap it up today with a live WSU football chat right here on SportsLink at 11 a.m.

Until then we have some links, after the jump.

-- The Pac-12 coaches held their first teleconference of the season, so we have our first notebook.

-- How do the teams stack up? No one knows for certain, but I take a stab at ranking them in our first Power Rankings of the year.

-- Of course the game is only the second-best thing the WSU football team does each week. My personal favorite is the Thursday Night Football underclassmen scrimmage.

-- I'm not sure everyone believes coach Mike Leach's claims of the Cougars' perfect bill of health.

-- CougCenter takes a look at the Rutgers defense.

-- An Arizona running back prepares to face his former team.

-- Arizona State's Gary Chambers will finally make his first collegiate catch.

-- California and Northwestern have put last year's injury issue behind them.

-- Got a few weeks to kill? Play around with Oregon's uniform machine.

-- Who will be Oregon State's go-to slotback? To be determined.

-- Stanford is taking all opponents seriously, even UC Davis.

-- Jim Mora has taken UCLA to new heights but Rick Neuheisel deserves some credit, too.

-- USC said that cornerback Josh Shaw sprained two ankles while saving a relative. Questions over the stories veracity pose an early test for Steve Sarkisian.

-- The Utah football coaches are coaching for their jobs this season.
