Three more Riverside recruits headed to WSU

WSU's defense could look markedly different next season. In fact, it could look a lot like the one at Riverside CC.

Following yesterday's news that Riverside's Treshon Broughton will play at Washington State rather than Oregon State, today three of his teammates decided to follow suit.

Defensive end DeVante Wilson, linebacker Jonah Moi and defensive end Jeremiah Mitchell will all be joining Broughton at WSU, according to Britton Ransford of WazzuWatch.com.

All three were highly recruited. Wilson claims scholarship offers from Arizona State and California, Moi from BYU and Hawaii and Mitchell was reportedly offered by ASU, Oregon and others.

All four Riverside kids are likely expected to challenge for spots in the two-deep next season. The Cougars were young last year, this is one way to get older.

While the football program cannot formally acknowledge recruits until they sign National Letters of Intent, there seems to be a correlation between recruits committing to play at Washington State and the WSUCougFootball account on Twitter tweeting "It's a great day to be a Coug!" as seen above.

The area code for Riverside, California is 951.
