Morning links: All quiet on the coaching front

We enter the third week of WSU's search for a defensive coordinator with nary a peep about who the Cougars may hire.

That may be the case for a while if Washington State is waiting on a coach that is deep in the middle of bowl game preparations right now, or one who is waiting to see what other opportunities open up at either college or NFL teams. Maybe Mike Leach is waiting to see who becomes unexpectedly available?

Or maybe we'll get a press release announcing a new coach later today. Either way, we've got links after the jump.

-- CougCenter's PJ Kendall gives his grade for the Mike Leach era at WSU.

-- Washington trailed for most of the game against Eastern but pulled out a win in Sunday's only Pac-12 game.

-- Arizona's Scooby Wright has been a historically good defender for the Wildcats.

-- Arizona State's Todd Graham wants his players to be patient when deciding whether or not to declare for the NFL draft.

-- Marcus Mariota's Heisman speech resonated with a lot of people.

-- UCLA's Jim Mora is being mentioned as a potential coaching candidate at Michigan.

-- USC's Adoree' Jackson isn't bothered by the spotlight.
