Zags tangle with Toreros

A crowd of 1,442 watched Portland edge San Diego 61-58 on Saturday at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. The Toreros are averaging 1,540 fans through five home dates this season. The crowd count will probably be triple that figure, if not more, Monday night when No. 8 Gonzaga makes its annual visit to the JCP.

Both games last season were three-point decisions won by the home team. Both teams appear improved from the 2014 versions. My game preview here. Here's the view from San Diego.
