Update: It’s not over between Rice and WSU

Update [3/31/14 10:34 a.m.] On Monday athletic director Bill Moos told host Bud Nameck that he didn't fly to Boise to pursuit Leon Rice during his weekly Cougar Calls segment.

Our previous report is after the jump.

...

From Pullman -- Yesterday I reported that Boise State head coach Leon Rice had interviewed for the vacant men's basketball coaching position at Washington State. Late last evening ESPN's Andy Katz tweeted that Rice had decided to stay at BSU.

But today sources have indicated that WSU President Elson Floyd and athletic director Bill Moos are either in or en route to Boise in an attempt to change Rice's mind. This would seem to indicated that Rice is indeed WSU's top choice, and probably the candidate referenced when the ASWSU president tweeted that the job had been offered to somebody.
