WSU women tip off the season

The Washington State women's basketball team accomplished a lot last season.

They won 17 games for the first time since 1994-95, reached the postseason for the first time since 1991 and beat Washington for the first time in 36 tries. Shoot, they beat the Huskies twice in one week.

Well with two all-conference returners for the first time in school history in Lia Galdeira and Tia Presley the Cougars have their sights set higher this season, which they're tipping off tonight in Beasley Coliseum with an event. Drop by if you're able, the Cougars have four starters and eight letter-winners back and it should be a good time.
