Morning links: WSU returns to practice

The Washington State Cougars returned to the practice field on Thursday after taking some time off for finals.

Of course, the practice was relegated to WSU's indoor bubble by the relentless snowfall that has turned the streets of Pullman into the world's most high-stakes game of bumper cars.

After practice we spoke with Mike Leach, Luke Falk and Peyton Pelluer.  In the paper today Jim Allen wrote about the speedy Miami Hurricanes, and in yesterday's wrap we had a story about Alex Grinch's evolving WSU defense.

Remember Squally Canada? The former WSU running back might be suiting up for BYU in its bowl game contest against Utah tomorrow. The Cougars have already signed one member of the class of 2016. Miss our live chat on Wednesday? Here is the transcript. A young WSU defensive end is already getting some, wha, Heisman publicity?

Stefanie Loh of the Seattle Times profiled Parker Henry this week. The Cougars will play seven home games next season.
