Morning links: when recruiting gets nasty
The NFL season is over and it won't be that long before college teams begin their spring practices.
But the big news for now is that on Wednesday the coaches will sign their 2015 recruits to national letters of intent, binding the prospect and the program.
The players in the 2015 class have been recruited for a year if not longer and as their final deadline approaches the stakes go up for the players and for their future coaches. The pressure to sign players that can deliver wins leads many coaches to skirt some ethical lines or cast other programs in a negative light.
