GU preview; Stockton update

Busy day in the Bay yesterday.

In Stockton, I put together my day-after Pacific post, then wrote a preview of tonight's Gonzaga-Saint Mary's game that I think could be GU's toughest contest since Arizona.

As you probably know, David Stockton signed a 10-day contract with Sacramento on Thursday. I'm not smart enough to calculate the odds of Stockton being called up by the Kings and the Kings playing at home while I was on a Bay Area road trip between GU games, but I'm pretty sure they're LOONNNGGGG. So I placed a call to the Kings, who graciously came through with a credential.

Had about a 10-minute post-game chat with Stockton, who didn't play in Sacramento's win. Still, quite impressive for the 5-foot-11 guard who was a preferred walk-on initially at GU to be on an NBA roster less than a year after his Zags' career ended. Here's my Stockton article.

In-game twitter updates tonight @srjimm.
