Two more Cougars named to watch lists

Last year WSU receiver Vince Mayle came within a couple catches of the Biletnikoff Award and the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation continue to pay attention to Pullman in 2015.

The foundation announced Wednesday that WSU junior River Cracraft has been named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List for the second consecutive season. Last season Cracraft, Mayle and Isiah Myers were all named to the watch list for the award given to the nation's top receiver.

Cracraft finished last season ranked in the Pac-12's top-10 in touchdowns, receptions and receiving yards. If he can make a leap in production as an upperclassman, the 275 selection committee members may name him one of 10 finalists on Nov. 16.

Furthermore, WSU linebacker Jeremiah Allison has been named to the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List, presented by the All Sports Association to the FBS player that best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement.

Allison has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, Butch's Holiday Bash for Local Children, Sr. Buddies at the local retirement home and Washington State Athletics Reading Buddies with local elementary schools.

On the field he was named All-Pac-12 Conference honorable mention after appearing in all 12 games, registering 78 tackles with 8.5 tackles-for-loss.

Here's a video of Cracraft answering some questions about life at WSU during spring camp after his freshman season.
