Luke Falk added to Manning Award watch list
Washington State quarterback Luke Falk was added to the Manning Award Watch list, the Allstate Sugar Bowl announced Wednesday.
The award is given to college football's best quarterback and is the only such award that includes bowl performances in its consideration. There are now 40 quarterbacks on the watch list, five of whom play in the Pac-12 conference.
Falk's 392.8 passing yards per game leads the Pac-12 and ranks No. 3 nationally. His 15 touchdowns rank No. 8 among FBS quarterbacks and he has thrown only two interceptions. He's also rushed for three scores and his 28 career touchdowns tie the redshirt sophomore with Mark Rypien for ninth-most in WSU history.
