Recruiting: 2017 safety accepts WSU scholarship offer
Ty Thomas, a junior at Cooper High in Lubbock, Texas accepted a scholarship offer from WSU just a couple days after it was extended.
According to Braulio Perez, who broke the news of Thomas' commitment, the WSU coaches recruited Thomas as a safety. He joins Tayari Venable as the two members of WSU's 2017 recruiting class. That duo will not be officially able to sign with the Cougars until February, 2017, so their recruitments are likely still far from over.
