Yesterday, we reported that Washington State was preventing Valentine Izundu from contacting the basketball program at San Diego State University on the grounds that the Aztecs had "tampered" with Izundu's transfer process, contacting him before the season ended.

We also reported that Izundu had an afternoon hearing today, Wednesday, to appeal that decision in front of a faculty committee.

That hearing took place and the committee upheld the original decision on the grounds that "the committee felt that tampering has taken place (improper communication through a third party)," saying it was the key factor in the decision.
