Crimson and Gray hold a short practice before their big game

The Washington State football team was in helmets and shells for a light practice on Thursday to get ready for Saturday's Crimson and Gray game.

The game will be held at Spokane's Joe Albi Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.

The team has been split up into Crimson and Gray teams, although it gets a little confusing. The offensive line, for example, will be able to play both ways. At running back, Jamal Morrow will play for the Crimson team, Gerard Wicks will rep the Grays, and James Williams will play both ways.

Quarterbacks Luke Falk and Peyton Bender will be on different teams, and Tyler Hilinski will play one half on Falk's team and one half on Bender's. Because all the quarterbacks wore gray on Thursday, it was not immediately apparent which quarterbacks belonged to which teams.

The Crimson quarterback will have Tavares Martin, River Cracraft, Kyle Sweet and Isaiah Johnson to throw to, while the Gray wideouts include Gabe Marks, Robert Lewis, Kyrin Priester and Kaleb Fossum.

The Gray defensive line looks pretty potent, with Ngalu Tapa, Hercules Mata'afa and Garret McBroom, but the Crimson squad gets Robert Barber. Crimson appears to have MORE contributing defensive backs with Charleston White, Marcellus Pippins, Treshon Broughton, Jalen Thompson and Kirkland Parker, but the Gray team gets Darrien Molton and Shalom Luani.

The full rosters will be available this evening.
