Big Sky Men's Basketball

Idaho Vandals (13-9, 5-4)

at Southern Utah Thunderbirds (4-15, 2-7)

Thursday, Feb. 4, 6 p.m. | Centrum Arena, Ceder City, Utah

Watch: Online:

Outlook: The race for a first-round bye in the Big Sky Conference tournament is on. Seven teams are within two games of two of the top four spots, behind Montana and Weber State. The Vandals will still be without the services of their top two scorers, Perrion Callandret (right foot) and Victor Sanders (right hand). Callandret may be able to return next week. The Southern Utah Thunderbirds downed Idaho in double overtime in Moscow in the last meeting between the two teams. Idaho will likely need to sweep the road trip against the two downtrodden squads if it hopes to maintain top-four position in the conference. - Sean Kramer
