Feldman, who co-wrote "Swing Your Sword" with Mike Leach, is a trustworthy source when it comes to the Cougars.
Footballscoop.com is reporting that Yost will be the Ducks' quarterbacks coach, a position he held at Missouri before becoming the team's offensive coordinator.
Yost was something of a mystery during his time in Pullman because of his desire to never be interviewed, though he was always friendly and conversational to reporters he saw in passing.
His refusal to grant interviews after practices or during the offseason likely stemmed from his stated desire to scale down his workload after burning out at Mizzou.
In 2013 he told CBSSports.com, " “I'd just gotten tired [at Missouri]. I didn't want to do it anymore. [I thought] ‘I'll find something else. I'll enjoy it. Spend time with my family.' I did not plan on coaching this fall."
Yost is the second offensive assistant WSU must replace this offseason. Outside receivers coach Graham Harrell left to become the offensive coordinator at North Texas, and was replaced on the Cougars coaching staff by former East Carolina offensive coordinator Dave Nichol.
