Washington State found points difficult to come by on Thursday, while Washington's freshmen found out the hard way how tough it is to win at Arizona.

Things didn't go any better for the Huskies in Tucson, where they were thrashed by the Wildcats. Oregon punked Utah in Salt Lake City. California still isn't playing up to the expectations that were set for the Golden Bears in the preseason and lost to Stanford yesterday.
