WSU adds Kansas State to future schedule

Washington State will play Kansas State in the not-too-near football, creating a matchup of university president Kirk Schulz current and former school.

Of course, the president's presence will only add a flair to the game if Schulz, 53, is still in office 12 years from now. The first game of the home-and-home series will be played on Sept. 12, 2026, with KSU hosting, and the Wildcats will make the return trip to Martin Stadium in 2029.

But Schulz can look forward to seeing his former school on the hard-court, since the schools will begin a basketball series this fall. The two universities have never met on the football field.
