High-scoring guard Malachi Flynn commits to WSU
For the second consecutive year, the Washington 4A Player of the Year has committed to the Cougars.
I'm truly blessed to announce that I have committed to Washington State University. I want to thank all of the schools that recruited me!🐾🐾

Last year, Washington State coach Ernie Kent signed 4A POY Viont'e Daniels and in 2016. In 2016, another highly-decorated kid out of Tacoma has decided to head east for college.
Flynn, whose coach compares him to Steph Curry, averaged 29.7 points per game last season for Bellarmine Prep. He shot 48 percent from the field, and 88 percent from the free throw line.
Flynn is a senior, so he'll join Milan Acquaah and Jeff Pollard in the class of 2016, taking a scholarship made available when Ny Redding and Renard Suggs left the program.
