Washington State center Riley Sorenson is an early candidate for the Rimington Award, presented annually to college football's "most outstanding center."

The 2015 All-Pac-12 honorable mention offensive lineman from Santa Margarita, California, has been the linchpin in the middle of WSU's offensive line for the past two seasons, making 21 starts. The Cougars led the nation in passing during each of those two years.

Sorenson has already received one honor this offseason. The senior was given the 2016 Pac-12 Sportsmanship Award after displaying admirable courage and dedication to his team even as he and his family dealt with personal tragedies
