Direct Stone Carving with John Johnson
Students will learn to identify suitable carving materials and how to safely use stone carving tools to create a 3D work of art. Students need to bring leather work gloves and be able to lift a 1.5 lb. hammer repeatedly, and move a small 20-40 lb. rock. For ages 13 and up. Saturdays, 10 a.m.-noon. Register at bit.ly/3L50WBt.
