Horse Massacre Healing Event

September 9, 2018

Commemorating the 160th anniversary of the round-up of horses owned by Native Americans rounded up by the US Army and killed them near the Idaho border. One Peace Many Paths will open the 2018 Spokane Global Unity Compassion Games with a ceremony to remember and honor the tribes and horses. The ceremony will feature drumming, prayers, the story of the massacre, a blessing and a dedication of a peace pole.
