Death notice
Michael A. Davis, age 69, of Nine Mile Falls, WA, passed away peacefully at home with family on August 26, 2024. He was born in Republic, WA, in 1955, to James E. Davis, Jr. and Donna Joan Davis. He graduated from Linden High School in California before serving in the Navy from 1974 to 1977. He sold his auto parts business in Stockton, CA, before moving to Washington in 1993 and starting a career in real estate. He was currently employed by Rosauers in Nine Mile Falls. He and his wife enjoyed summers at Curlew Lake boating and fishing with their children and grandchildren. Mike loved playing golf with his golfing buddies, getting together with friends to play his guitar, and crabbing off the Oregon coast. He is preceded in death by his mother and his first wife, Diane. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Vickie; his father, James; stepmother, Donna Davis; sister, Shelly (Eric) Campigli; brother, James E. (Fritzi) Davis III; children, William and Jessica; grandchildren, Nicole and Michael Nelson; and life-long friend for over 65 years, Mike Rushing. The family wishes to thank the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital and Hospice of Spokane for their care and support and also their wonderful friends and neighbors who have been such a support to the family during this time. At his request, no formal service will be held. A private gathering is planned for a future date.
