Bio: James Williams burst onto the scene as a redshirt freshman in 2016 and added an electric element to WSU's backfield. Known for his spins and leaping ability, hardly a game goes by without Williams trying to hurdle a defender, and sometimes he is successful. Williams' family was homeless for a time when he was younger, but now his younger sister, Mari, is a successful TV actress having voiced a main character in the animated movie "Tyler Perry's Madea's Tough Love" and found work in commercials.
