About The Race

This is one of four council seats on the Latah Town Council up for grabs in November. The salary for this position is $35/meeting with no benefits provided. It is a 4-year term.

The Candidates

Larry La Bolle

Latah, Washington

La Bolle did not return messages seeking comment ahead of the 2023 election. He previously has listed his job as the director of federal and regional affairs for Avista Utilities.

He was elected to the Latah Town Council in 2015 and 2019. About 20 years ago, he and his wife Lisa La Bolle bought the historic Ham-McEachern House in Latah and began restoring it, according to previous coverage.

Teresa Galvin

Latah, WA

Galvin had been serving as Latah’s mayor until she resigned her position in August, reportedly giving no reason for her decision.
