Political experience: Served on Central Valley School Board since December 2003.

Work experience: Has worked as an accounting manager for Rockwood Retirement Communities since 1997. Operated the Central Valley Craft Fair since 1994. Has served as the Bloomsday Saturday number coordinator since 2007.

Family: Married to William Long. Has two sons who graduated from Central Valley High School.
