Spokane Great Outdoors & Bike Expo emcee Abbey Crawford is given a long hug by Gretta Torvik, 3, in the middle of the Outdoor Dog Fashion at the Spokane Convention Center on Feb. 24, 2019. Gretta was showing Max, a Yorkshire terrier, to the crowd and the show paused briefly while she was overcome with emotion. Torvik won the category “best owner spirit” and was the recipient of a gift basket.
