Christmas spirit, not COVID-19, contagious at annual Hutton tree sale
Hutton Settlement's annual Christmas tree sale typically takes three weekends during the holiday season, but that may not be the case this year, said Jessie Laughery, director of community engagement and stewardship. Laughery said that sales neared the $10,000 mark on the first day alone, and by Sunday, all of the garlands and wreaths had been sold, leaving only Christmas trees available.
