Sety’s Ace Hardware in Chewelah reopened Monday after a fire in August 2023 gutted the historic building designed by renowned architect Kirtland Cutter. Though the top two floors were destroyed in the fire, the first floor brick exterior was able to be saved and incorporated into the new structure.
