Summary

What happened: A sacrifice fly by Jaydn Hatchitt in the 6th inning put Ferris in the lead and the third-seeded Saxons (10-8) defeated the second-seeded Tigers (9-9) for the District 6 4A championship on Wednesday and advances to State. Frankie Schone went 4 for 4 with a pair of doubles, three runs scored and 4 RBIs for Ferris. Isabella Heister, Lucy Piskel and Vienna Klein each hit a home run for LC.

Lewis and Clark will travel to Chiawana to play the winner of Mead and Chiawana on Friday to go to State.
