What happened: Hayden Kaut scored 31 points along with 15 rebounds and the top-seeded Tigers (22-5) defeated the the ninth-seeded Gorillas (23-7) in overtime of the State 2B third-place game on Saturday at the Spokane Arena. Clare Lathrop ned Davenport with 25 points and nine rebounds.
It was a hard fought battle where Davenport started strong and led 27-16 at the half. Napavine caught Davenport tying it up at the end of regulation. The Tigers outscored the Gorillas 4-3 in overtime. Four Tigers and one Gorilla fouled out and both benches received technicals.

Napavine finishes in third place and Davenport in fifth place.
