What happened: Addison Jay went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double and the second-seeded Wildcats (25-1) defeated the visiting sixth-seeded Spartans (21-5) in a State 3A semifinal game at Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey on Saturday. Avery Anderson went 1 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs to lead Stanwood.
Mt. Spokane advances to the State 3A championship game and will face top-seeded Sedro-Woolley at 2:30 p.m.
