What happened: Heidi Scott had four hits, three RBIs and two runs scored and the top-seeded Irish (24-1-1) beat the fifth-seeded Wildcats (18-5) in a 1B State semifinal on Saturday at Gateway Sports Complex in Yakima. Holly Heiststuman and Kiya Soza led Colton with three hits apiece. Colton will play tenth-seeded Ocosta in a loser-out at 1:00 p.m.

What happened: Caroline Kutsch drove in three runs and the top-seeded Irish (21-1-1) defeated the second-seeded Warriors (16-7) in a District 6 1B semifinal game on Saturday at Franklin Park Fields. DeSales faces Liberty Christian for the District 6 1B Championship and ACH plays Inchlium for third place at 3:00 p.m. Both teams advance to State.
