What happened: Jackson Pepper and Jonathon Wright scored 18 points apiece and the fifth-seeded Vikings (20-4) beat the fourth-seeded Eagles (20-4) in a State 2A opening round game on Saturday. Will Busse scored 15 points for West Valley. Selah will play the winner of Columbia River and Lakewood on Thursday at 9 a.m. West Valley will play Franklin Pierce in a loser-out on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m.
