What happened: Winning pitcher Avery Fox hit three home runs, driving in seven runs and the top-seeded Wildcats (18-0) defeated the visiting second-seeded Blue Devils (17-7) in five innings for the District 6 3A/2A championship game on Friday. Quincy Schuerman and McKenzie Morris each knocked in three runs for Mt. Spokane. Elyse Ocanaz led Walla Walla with two hits. Both teams advance to the State 3A/2A tournament on Oct 24-25 in Yakima.

What happened: Brooklyn White and Marissa Balderas each drove in two runs and the second-seeded Blue Devils (17-6) defeated the visiting third-seeded Titans (14-3) in a of a District 6 3A/2A semifinal game on Wednesday. Kai Coursey hit a home run, double and knocked in five runs for U-Hi. Walla Walla travels to top-seeded Mt. Spokane on Friday for the District 3A/2A Championship. University hosts eighth-seeded Shadle Park on Friday at 1:00 p.m. in a loser-out game.
