At top, a tow truck hauls a Prius from an accident involving this semi truck. An occupant of the car died at the scene. The westbound truck was hauling heavy metal plates and collided with two eastbound cars, including the Prius, before plunging down the embankment at the Interstate 90 overpass above Medical Lake-Four Lakes Road on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Eight others suffered non-life threatening injuries. Icy conditions were said to be a factor in the crashes. The accident began when an eastbound pickup lost control, causing the semi driver to swerve over the median into oncoming traffic.
